Simple design with some creative choices, interesting story, yet the execution seems a bit off around the edges.
I was really surprised by the quality of animations, the characters and overall story, those were the immersive parts of the game. I didn't like the sound design in this with the footsteps being super loud, it distracted me from the game many times. With that, the interaction with the gun, somehow the camera pinned me towards the ceiling multiple times during the "Shadow Monster" appearance and I was unable to shoot. And finally, the walking speed was purposefully slow. I would suggest maybe adding more to the environment, making the library bigger and that way the character can walk faster around, so the game doesn't feel a bit draggy.
Overall, I really liked this. Looking forward to part 2 or any other new projects. Best of luck ✨
This was an awesome game my dude! Very fun with a spooky story, I liked the shadow man. my only complaint is no sprinting so it gets slow, the random gun parts need checkpoints replaying day 3 a bunch gets brutal. I enjoyed and recommend! Here is my gameplay video, sub and help my channel grow everyone! :)
